What We Do
Medical Waste Disposal
Blood soaked materials/bandages
Materials contaminated with bodily fluids
Tubing or lines containing blood or fluids
Culture dishes, glassware, & used gloves
Regulated medical waste, also known as biohazardous waste, biomedical waste, infectious waste, “red bag” waste, and RMW, tends to be highly infectious. Generators of this waste are required by US law to fully dispose and treat it in a manner that is compliant with strict OSHA regulations.
As your waste management partner, we take full responsibility for what you dispose, how you dispose it (in marked containers), pickup & transport, and, finally, the treatment of the waste. Our fully licensed compliance experts will ensure that there are zero compliance or safety risks throughout the process.

Chemotherapy Waste Disposal
Chemotherapy Needles
Toxic and damaging to the environment, chemotherapy waste (also called chemo waste) is difficult to dispose of properly; there are many federal and state codes regulating the process. As a chemotherapy provider, you are responsible to protect your staff — and reduce environmental impact.
Our chemotherapy waste experts protect everyone in your facility from contamination. From our chemotherapy receptacles — designed with security and safety in mind — to our sterilized transport and treatment process, we’re your partners in creating a safer environment, both inside your facility and out.

Sharps Disposal
Needles
Auto Injectors
Scalpels
Lancets
Scissors
Syringes
Proper sharps disposal is an important component of your medical waste disposal plan. “Sharps” are any medical devices with sharp points or edges that can cut the skin. Prevent common injuries by organizing areas with containers within reach, avoiding container overfill, and disposing properly after one-time use.
Cyntox will supply you with marked containers designed with a small hole to insert sharps, avoiding contact with fingers and preventing needlestick injuries. We’ll pick up the containers at the frequency your facility needs, destroy unusable material, and, when possible, sterilize, as part of our environmentally conscious waste plan.

Pharmaceutical Waste Disposal
Unused/expired vaccines & drugs
Contaminated vaccines & drugs
Antibiotics & pills
Injectables
Pharmaceutical waste is classified by non-hazardous and hazardous (RCRA), which must be disposed according to regulations. Whether you operate a lab, medical center, or pharmacy, you are responsible for pharmaceutical waste disposal — which includes preventing tampering by anyone in your facility.
Our compliance experts will ensure that risk for mishandling or abuse of medications is low. Electronic reporting and manifests keep everything trackable as we pick up used pharmaceuticals & destroy them. We also offer comprehensive staff training & tools for drug classifications, segregation, disposal, & more.

Pathological Waste Disposal
Bodily Fluids
Tissue and Body Parts
Contaminated Animal Carcasses
Pathological waste is regulated medical waste that may contain blood, bodily fluid, tissue, tissue samples, or body parts. If your facility generates pathological waste, you are legally responsible for its safe disposal and incineration, keeping staff members safe from disease and infection.
As your waste management partner, we take full responsibility for what you dispose, how you dispose it (carefully marked containers), the pickup and transport, and, finally, the treatment of the waste (via incineration). Our licensed experts will ensure that there are no compliance risks throughout the process.

COVID-19 Waste Disposal
COVID-19-infected waste
COVID-19 vaccine residue
COVID-19 contaminated sharps
Rapid antigen tests
With COVID-19 came unique demand for hospitals, laboratories, physicians’ offices, urgent cares, long-term care facilities, and more to dispose of COVID-19 infected waste safely and swiftly. All facilities that are affected by COVID-19 are legally responsible for compliant disposal — and the safety of their patients or residents.
Now more than ever, on-time pickups that prevent highly infected medical waste from sitting is imperative. We accommodate facilities with high-frequency waste by ensuring pickups happen when containers are only 3/4 full. We manage every aspect of COVID-19 vaccine & waste collection, transport, and treatment.
